Information
History: Rita was born in Celestic Town to Madison and Richard Alwats. Rita had lived a fairly well off life, with many of her life lessons being divided between her family members. Her mother, being a daycare attendant with two Gardevoir to aid her, taught her daughter about the many joys of pokemon, and how to raise and care for them. In order to show this to her daughter, she gave Rita a baby Ralts as a playmate and friend, eventually to become her first pokemon. She got on incredibly well with this Ralts, along with the other two Gardevoir, who mothered her when Madison was not available. Much of her normal education was taught to her by her father, a businessman who worked on transit to Eterna City. He was incredibly smart in the fields of Maths and Science, but became distraught when he realised his daughter held an incredible interest in writing and creative arts. Her brother played with her much like any sibling should, and gave her tips on future pokemon training, and how it could be made into a game, as he demonstrated by playing Frisbe with his Leafeon and making his Gallade cut up their lunches in edible chunks in a dramatic fashion.
Soon however, Rita's family took a downturn. Their father had begun to come home later and later from work, and he was coming up with more and more feeble excuses as to why he'd be home so late. Eventually, news was circulating that pokemon were being stolen by poachers, and taken away to the distant land known as Orre for unknown reasons. A picture was shown, and Madison instantly recognized one of the visible culprits as her husband. To be safe, she checked on the Pokeballs for Gardie and Mardie, her two Gardevoir, but before she could find them, she found them in the possession of Richard. He said he was going to Orre to make good use of Gardie and Mardie, and enter them in the new age of Shadow Pokemon. He attempted to take Ryan's Gallade and Leafeon, and Rita's Ralts, but Madison had gotten to them before he did, and she took them away to Floaroma for safety. After a week of hiding, they returned to their home, but Madison was struggling to keep the daycare running on her own, and Ryan had to help, along with Gallade and Leafeon.
Knowing her brother had dreams of his own, but not wanting to see her mother lose the lifestyle she loved, Rita went off around Celestic and began asking for help. She eventually came across a young blonde trainer known as Cynthia. Cynthia offered her some words of encouragement, telling her that a true pure of heart trainer would take the oppurtunity to help others, especially their own family. Taking the words to heart, Rita set off to Snowpoint city on her own, to catch a ship to Orre. She was 15 by this time, and had already signed up for the Pokemon League, but these plans would have to be put on hold. On her way to Snowpoint, her Ralts evolved into a Kirlia, and she caught a male Ralts and a female Eevee, knowing that she would need more than just one Pokemon to defeat her father. As she reached Snowpoint, she purchased her ticket and soon found her ship wouldn't leave for another couple of days. So she decided to visit a couple of landmarks to pass the time. Visiting the Ice Rock, she battled a few pokemon with her Eevee and it evolved into a Glaceon thanks to the power of the rock. She also took a trip to see Snowpoint Temple, but she was blocked from entry.
Her ship eventually set sail, and a rising panic began to settle in. She was travelling to Orre on her own with only a Kirlia, Ralts and Glaceon to help her. But the captain of the ship confronted her, noticing her anxiety. He told her various stories about how travelling to new lands was so wonderful, and he offered to battle with her to test her skills in secret. In the end, he proved she was a good battler, as he was trounced quite easily by her Kirlia. With a new confidence inside her, her voyage soon came to an end in Gateon Port. Her first thoughts were to find out where her father had gone with the two Gardevoir. Asking about the sailors and travellers in the port, she soon discovered that "Shadow Pokemon" meant she had to find "Cipher". People warned her that Cipher was dangerous however, and such a young girl couldn't hope to defeat the Admins. She also knew this to be true, so she decided on a different approach. She purchased an entirely new set of clothes for her usage, all in black. She dubbed herself "the master of sneaking" and set off. Before she did, however, she noticed a few thugs were beating a young boy up for his pokemon.
She took to battling the thugs, knowing this would give her a good reputation in the eyes of the locals, and defeated them with her second Ralts, that then evolved into a Kirlia. She now had a semi-strong party to battle with, and a stylish look. The young boy presented her with a bright stone that shone light the morning light, and was told to give it to her Male Kirlia when it got stronger. The thugs she had defeated were now attempting to steal from the pokemon mart. She confronted them once again, but they refused to battle her, in fear of getting whooped again. She used this fear to pry information out of them and found out that they were trying to get pokemon and items for the Cipher organization. Following the directions, she traversed across the desert on a loaned hoverbike to the unmarked location where a small steel building stood. Letting her stealth skills come into play, she entered the building in silence, and used her Kirlia to open the keycard based locks. Soon they reached a computer with a variety of data within it, but it was guarded by two people. Battling them with her two Kirlia's, her female one evolved into a Gardevoir after an intense battle. Using it's new hightened psychic powers, it found out where Gardie and Mardie were on the computer.
Before confronting her father, she remembered she possessed the Dawn Stone, and believing after the battles the Male Kirlia had fought, it would be time to use the Dawn Stone. After the evolution of Gardevoir, the male Kirlia had now evolved into a Gallade, and the two, with utmost loyalty alongside Glaceon, were ready to fight against her evil father to retake the two stolen family pokemon before they had their hearts locked away. The father was not pleased to see her own daughter ready to face against him, but he did look forward to taking her newly trained, and powerful looking pokemon, away for testing on in Cipher's research lab. DEciding an ironic loss was in order, he used Gardie and Mardie against Rita's Gardevoir and Gallade. The battle was a clash of tactics, each avoiding skilfully and attacking cleverly but eventually Rita's Gallade, after Gardie and Gardevoir were KO-ed, managed to defeat Mardie with a Psycho Cut attack. After her father had lost, she took Gardie and Mardie's pokeballs from his sobbing person then left. Glaceon had destroyed a great deal of equipment during their battle and altogether withheld the revival of Cipher for some time.
She returned to Gateon Port and recieved a substantial reward for the tasks she undertook. She was shocked to recieve this reward, believing her tasks would go unnoticed by the public, but the child she had saved earlier had been keeping tabs on what her intentions were all the time. In finding the location, and defeating one of the highest ranked hunters inside Cipher, she had allowed the police force easy entry into the research center and could easily return the pokemon that had been stolen. Deciding to use this money on her pokemon, she purchase a sum of TM's and taught her pokemon a great deal of moves. She strongly believed in her teams future in the Pokemon League...
She also spent the money on a fishing rod. Her next intention was to take a nice slow cruise back to Snowpoint City, and she thought she might try her hand at fishing. The old captain, who recognized her the instant she boarded the ship, greeted her in open arms, congratulated her on accomplishing her mission and offered to teach her how to fish. Rita was a fast learner, however, and while the ship was moored in Lilycove City, she took to fishing on her own. She managed to catch herself a Feebas, with a great deal of patience. Another story was recieved from the Captain about how Feebas could transform into the beautiful pokemon known as Milotic, but only if the Feebas was beautiful in itself. Told that the only way to make a pokemon's beauty to come out was through poffins, she set about raiding the ships pantrys for berries that met the charts. Using Gardevoir, Galceon and a rather emasculated Gallade to aid her in the cooking, she eventually produced a bowlful of Beauty Poffins. Calling out her Feebas, she began feeding it daily during the cruise. Once they had moored in Vermillion, all the Poffins were eaten and Feebas began to look radiant. Or, as radiant as a Feebas could look...
She decided the appropriate foe would be a Magikarp, and since they were pretty common around these parts, she simply fished one out and had Feebas hopelessly battle against it. Soon the Magikarp lad KO-ed on the deck, and her Feebas began to evolve into the ever beautiful Milotic. Happy with her pokemon team, she gathered them up for a special photo she would give to her mother and brother upon her return, taken by the Captain of the ship. The ship was having a party that night, and a special guest, Lt Surge, had shown up uninvited to challenge the girl who defeated the Cipher. Everyone turned to Rita, who gladly accepted. It was to be a 1 vs 1, and Surge called on his Raichu, while Rita called on her Gallade. The battle wrecked most of the ballroom floor as Surge's Raichu unleashed powerful bolts across, but Gallade was too quick and evaded most of them. Seeing that Surge was using a heavy handed offensive approach, Rita called for Gallade to strike it down when it was in the air, launching bolts. Gallade then cut through the thunder attack with psycho cut and struck down Surge's Raichu in a powerful final blow that left Surge highly cross, but considerably impressed. He stormed off the ship and it eventually set sail. The final port of call would be Snowpoint, where Rita would disembark and head back to Celestic, returning her mother's two Gardevoir.
Upon docking, she wished the captain a teary goodbye and soon made her way down the Snowpoint Route, through Mt Coronet and back to her home town of Celestic. She was greeted with thunderous cheers as the news had passed from Orre to Sinnoh faster than her journey, and with a heartfelt welcome from everybody, she was finally home. After a few days back home, she bode her mother and brother farewell, deciding that she should begin her adventure proper now, with no fears or worries to tarnish her future quests...
